Roberts Hot Tubs has been individually crafting Round and Oval Hot Tubs, as well as Japanese Ofuro Soaking Tubs, from the finest quality Western Red Cedar, Alaskan Yellow Cedar, Port Orford Cedar, Teak and Redwood since 1976.

All of our traditional round hot tubs are individually crafted from the thickest and finest clear, all heart, vertical grain Western Red Cedar, Alaskan Yellow Cedar, Port Orford Cedar and Teak wood available. Due to the unavailability of quality redwood, we no longer build redwood hot tubs.
We construct our tubs from full-sawn 2 x 6 clear, all heart vertical grain staves and our tub bottoms are 1-3\4″ net thickness, making them considerably thicker than most other wooden hot tubs on the market today.
The extra thickness provides numerous benefits to hot tub owners including:

• Provides Up to Twice as Much Insulation Value as Thinner Tubs
Our tubs are supported by 4 x 6 chine joists and held together by 1\2″ steel bands. Our steel bands are roll threaded at each end and come with a cast iron coupler, two stainless steel nuts and a unique polyethylene sheathing which protects the bands from rusting or gouging the wood.
The benches in our hot tubs are made from 2 x 12 clear, all heart, vertical grain wood with a finished thickness of 1-1\2″ thick by 11-1\4″ wide.
The bench is comprised of 8 sections and is supported by 2′ x 4’s which are attached to the sides of the tub.
We call this our “Full Circle” bench. No part of the Full Circle Bench touches the floor of the hot tub, thereby eliminating obstacles and allowing your feet complete, unobstructed freedom.
We also have less than a full circle bench sections that allow for sitting and standing. These sections can be installed at various levels to allow total comfort for people of different heights. All benches come complete with stainless steel screws for fastening to the tub.
We pack and ship our tubs in a strategic “knocked down” fashion for easy shipping and easy installation in just about any location. All tubs come with our comprehensive and easy to follow step by step installation guide.
We keep some of the most popular sized wood tubs in stock, along with a limited selection of smaller two person oval tubs. The most popular round tubs are 4′ tall by 5′-6′ in diameter, but we also offer standard pricing on 3′-5′ tall tubs and complete hot tub system packages as well.

Over the last 40 years, we’ve built just about every size and shape of wooden hot tub imaginable. It’s not unheard of for us to make tubs as small as 3′ or as large as 12′ in diameter with depths ranging from 2′ 6″ to 5′.
